Job Summary
Schedule and assign workflow tasks, train associates on procedures and equipment, and monitor daily activity to ensure safety and process compliance. Manage labor needs by adjusting assignments for work volume, tracking attendance, and verifying timely break and lunch returns. Conduct daily department start-up meetings, covering priorities, goals, and safety, and act as the primary leader when the supervisor is absent. Ensure all housekeeping assignments are completed and that staff have necessary supplies to finish tasks accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled
- Experience and knowledge of multiple departments
- Comfortable conducting presentations in group environment
- Strong, proven leadership and motivational ability
- Maintains a positive attitude and exceptional customer service
- Possesses an ambitious drive
- Detail & quality orientated
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of safety methods and procedures
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled
- Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled
