Job Summary
Provide a positive experience for both patients and customers by leading by example with outstanding service and product education. Assist in supervising daily dispensary operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with local and state laws while overseeing transactions, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Help managers with inventory, system support, and open/close duties, and act as a mentor to Dispensary Agents by answering questions and supporting training and performance development. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis products, regulations, and industry trends while ensuring a clean, organized environment. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and enhance operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of retail or hospitality (customer-facing) experience.
- Must be 21 years of age and able to register as a cannabis agent with the state.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds unassisted, stand and walk in excess of 5+ hours per day.
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend over, and reach with little or no assistance.
- Comfortable working in a demanding high-volume, fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
