Lead Direct Support Professional - (Residential Program)

As a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP), you will lead by example in providing direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism within a residential home. You will mentor staff, support day-to-day operations, ensure person-centered and behavior plans are followed, administer medications with proper documentation, maintain a clean and safe living environment, transport individuals to appointments, assist with budgeting and independence goals, complete required progress notes and incident reports, and provide effective shift hand-offs to the team. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on care, requiring strong communication, compassion, and a commitment to professional development through Beacon’s LEAP program. Qualifications include a GED or High School Diploma, valid driver’s license, and prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
