Job Summary
Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Tennessee. Responsibilities include providing ADL assistance, medication administration, health and safety monitoring, documenting progress and incidents, promoting residents’ independence and community participation, developing individualized training plans, coordinating with medical staff, mentoring and guiding fellow DSPs, leading team meetings, and participating in on-call rotations and shift coverage to maintain adequate staffing and quality of care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Tennessee Class D license
- Medication administration certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license
