Job Summary
Lead Direct Support Professional responsible for helping individuals live in their own homes and develop independent living skills, including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), transportation to appointments and activities, medication administration and documentation. Role may include lead duties such as menu planning, scheduling, overseeing medical appointments, MAR and medication reviews, and staff coordination. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license if driving is required, clean driving record as specified, ability to pass background check, and strong communication/interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position
- No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years
- No major violations in the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a background check
- Possess skills to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and other customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy
