Job Summary
Lead Direct Support Professional oversees daily group-home operations, supervises ISPs and daily activity schedules, supports individuals with personal care and community-based activities, monitors medication administration, conducts fire drills and safety checks, coordinates transportation, maintains documentation, and collaborates with families and team members to ensure safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. Requires leadership and organizational skills, strong communication, a compassionate approach, and 2+ years in human services plus a High School diploma, PA driver’s license, and ability to obtain required clearances and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in the Human Services field
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and eligibility for agency insurance
- Ability to obtain required clearances (PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI if applicable)
- Willingness to complete Medication Administration, CPR, and First Aid training upon hire
