Job Summary
Lead the digital product design for Nike's Run Club and Training Club apps, translating athlete motivations into differentiated experience concepts through wireframes, flows, and prototypes. Rapidly visualize, prototype, and iterate on multiple design directions while collaborating with product, engineering, data science, and cross-functional partners to launch software at scale. Own entire product spaces or large projects encompassing coaching, content, community, and progress tracking features. Mentor fellow designers and evangelize the Nike brand to strengthen internal design culture.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience with end-to-end digital product design
- Proven experience in visual, UX/UI, and prototyping
- Proven experience delivering consumer-facing product experiences that improve onboarding, habit formation, personalization, motivation, community, content discovery, and/or activity tracking
- Strong understanding of product thinking, interaction design, data science, experimentation and execution
- Expertise in one or more areas of product thinking, interaction design, data science, experimentation and execution
- Hands-on creative and systems thinker with strong UX/UI/IA design expertise and design approach
- Demonstrated user-centric design approach and insights-based design process
- Experience working with consumer research and data
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to influence or create design patterns or standards that are adopted by other teams
- Highly proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Cursor and Figma
- Cross-platform design experiences (web, Android, iOS, email)
- Ability to communicate a vision for the work in a way others can relate to and buy into
- Ability to establish a holistic look and feel between all pieces of a large project
- Experience launching software at scale in a fast-paced product organization
- Experience with digital fitness, wellness, coaching, activity tracking, wearable integrations, training plans, guided content, challenges, achievements, or community-based motivation features
- Familiarity with Nike Run Club, Nike Training Club, or comparable consumer fitness products that combine coaching, content, community, personalization, and progress tracking to support athlete goals
