Job Summary
Oversee complex vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and road tests while maintaining advanced knowledge of engines, emissions, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and HVAC systems. Supervise shop technicians through daily huddles, training, performance evaluations, and hiring assistance, while managing inventory, approving expenses, and scheduling fleet maintenance. Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and DOT safety regulations during inspections and performance monitoring. Work Monday through Friday in a full-time day shift role with consistent year-round work.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of diesel or automotive maintenance & repair experience or technical school education
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to obtain CDL while employed
- Strong computer skills
- Possess a mechanic's tool set
- Note: This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee
- DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason

- Previous experience in a lead technician, supervisor, or other management role
- ASE certifications
