Job Summary
Perform general repairs on all parts of Class 8 trucks and trailers, including engine rebuilds and Cummins engine restoration. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, aftertreatment, and hydraulic systems while executing welding and fabrication as needed. Lead and train a team of technicians, make recommendations for process system improvements, and maintain knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements. This direct hire opportunity involves a 1st shift schedule with total compensation ranging from $70k to $90k based on experience. A Class A CDL license is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in a lead tech role or similar leadership role for 5 plus years
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements
- Must have strong welding and fabrication skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Class A CDL license a plus
