Job Summary
Schedules, implements, and maintains a preventative maintenance program for all vehicles and equipment at the division. Directs, trains, and oversees technicians to ensure jobs are completed safely, prioritizing active participation in the career paths program to help staff advance. Performs regular operational analysis to maximize resource utilization and correct deficiencies immediately while guaranteeing complete documentation of repair history through the Transman program. Ensures full DOT compliance for equipment maintenance and coordinates activities with associated departments to maximize customer satisfaction. Establishes personal development plans for technicians and demonstrates effective leadership by coaching team members on achieving goals and organizing team initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid CDL Class B with an air brake endorsement
- OSHA 10 or 30 card
- 1-year clean CDL Driving experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
