Job Summary
Complete preventative maintenance, standard component inspections, and major or minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. Use PFG tools to log repairs, research issues, and perform road tests to diagnose root causes of failures. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings, then adjust brakes, replace parts, and reassemble machinery. Perform routine tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication while documenting all work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system. Work the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10pm–6:30am) earning $29–$32/hour with Day 1 health benefits, 401K matching, and stock purchase plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent Experience
- 5-7 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
