Lead Diesel Mechanic & Shop Manager overseeing daily maintenance for a fleet of 30+ trucks, mentoring technicians, diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems, deciding between in-house repairs or outsourcing, scheduling repairs and shop production, reviewing outside repairs, installing camera and automation components, coordinating with fabrication on fixes, conducting safety checks, and maintaining records while fostering communication with leadership—with a clear path into broader operations leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a diesel mechanic shop
- Proven experience managing a technical team
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
