Job Summary
Lead daily maintenance support for the Chickasha terminal by directing technicians, diagnosing tractors and trailers, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. Ensure all work completes on schedule per company procedures while inspecting repairs, coaching staff, and maintaining accurate logs. Manage third-party repair partners and align all activities with safety standards to reduce downtime. Requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with tank, van, and flatbed trailers, proficiency with diagnostic tools like Cummins Insite and Paccar ESA, and welding skills. Full-time role in Chickasha, OK; current CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong diesel diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair experience
- Leadership ability with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and timely completion of work
- Comfortable using computers and Windows-based systems
- Proficiency with PC and Windows operating systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as Cummins Insite, Bendix, Meritor, or equivalent software
- Experience using Paccar ESA, DAVIE4, or similar diagnostic equipment
- Welding experience
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience working on tank trailers, van trailers, flatbed trailers, and related parts and systems
- Associate degree in Automotive Technology or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of direct, hands-on experience as a commercial Class 8 tractor mechanic
Desired Qualifications
- Current CDL with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements
