Job Summary
Own the deployment, health, and continuous improvement of Tulip's multi-cloud, multi-region SaaS environments spanning the US, Europe, and Asia. Design cloud architecture for global availability and stability while evolving CI/CD infrastructure toward a fully automated, human-interaction-free delivery lifecycle. Build automation tooling to reduce operational toil and define observability standards for metrics, alerting, and distributed tracing. Proactively identify capacity risks, lead incident response, and drive root cause analysis. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance while serving as a partner to application teams throughout the SDLC. Participate in the on-call rotation and establish best practices that scale with the team.
Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- 5-7+ years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience
- demonstrated ownership of production cloud environments at scale
- Proficiency with modern cloud infrastructure tooling
- experience with Kubernetes
- experience with Helm
- experience with Terraform
- experience with Ansible
- experience with major cloud providers (AWS and/or Azure)
- Proven experience mentoring and coaching engineers
- genuine interest in developing the people around you
- Experience managing enterprise-grade data persistence layers
- NoSQL and SQL databases

- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling
