Job Summary
Architect, deploy, and manage highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes Engine. Maintain declarative infrastructure using Terraform with GitOps workflows via Atlantis, while building and optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD. Manage enterprise networking perimeters, service mesh architectures, and API gateways for secure traffic flow. Implement comprehensive telemetry, log aggregation, and alerting to ensure high availability and fast incident response. Enforce strict security postures, manage identity and secrets storage, and participate in operational on-call rotation to uphold SOC2 compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Deep GCP & Kubernetes Mastery
- Senior/Lead level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE
- Expert-level Terraform skills
- extensive experience running GitOps workflows at scale
- specifically via Atlantis
- Strong track record of designing, building, and maintaining multi-stage automated deployment pipelines
- High proficiency with Istio
- specifically VirtualServices, mTLS, sidecar injection
- High proficiency with API Gateways
- specifically Kong
- Hands-on experience enforcing enterprise-grade security and secret management
- Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, IAM
- Solid operational comfort with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Solid operational comfort with BigQuery
- in-cluster datastores like Elasticsearch or ClickHouse
- At least an upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, and disaster recovery
- Advanced Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKS)
- Practical experience with Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse for centralized logging and metrics
