Job Summary
Lead DevOps Engineer role is a senior, hybrid position at NICE that sits at the intersection of operational reliability and software delivery automation. You’ll be part of a cross-functional engineering team, owning CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and tooling that enable rapid, high-quality software delivery. You will function as the connective tissue between engineering, platform, and operations, capable of contributing to incident bridge calls and sprint planning, while maintaining production health and performance. Responsibilities include designing/building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines, IaC with CloudFormation/Ansible/Terraform/Chef/Puppet, managing release processes, coordinating with engineering/QA/product, researching new technologies, monitoring both production and non-production environments, detecting and resolving operational issues, handling on-call/off-hour support, and producing operational documentation, metrics, and governance artifacts. You will also engage in proactive health monitoring, incident response, runbooks, SLAs adherence, and proactive communication with internal teams and customers. Education and hands-on experience in cloud ops and DevOps practices are required, with a focus on reliability, automation, and scalable software delivery.
