Job Summary
Lead DevOps Engineer focused on building automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and production-ready release processes. Responsibilities include defining and developing CI/CD pipelines, building Infrastructure as Code, coordinating build and release activities, managing day-to-day operations of release pipelines and source control resources, troubleshooting downtime and performance issues, performing maintenance and upgrades of DevOps systems, and researching new technologies to improve processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1-3 years on a software development team, experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell), and strong knowledge in databases, networking, VOIP administration, operating systems, and container technologies. Advantageous experience with Artifactory, release-pipeline tools (Concourse, GoCD, Octopus, etc.), CircleCI/Jenkins/Bamboo/TFS, Docker, configuration tools (Chef/Puppet/Ansible/CloudFormation), and AWS. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a contributor on a software development team
- Experience working with distributed source control systems, preferably with GitHub or BitBucket
- Experience writing scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, Powershell
- Deep knowledge and understanding in one or more of the following areas: Database Administration, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networking Administration, Voice Over IP administration, Operating Systems
