Job Summary
Lead Developer responsible for driving technical direction and delivering scalable cloud-based applications within a global platform. Provides hands-on technical guidance, mentors engineers, and leads a team across Costa Rica, the US, and India. Responsibilities include defining architecture, delivering high-quality solutions, promoting Agile practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience with APIs, SOA, cloud development, and hands-on coding in .NET and/or Java. This remote role may require occasional in-person attendance at events and supports alignment with global teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or people management roles
- Proven experience leading teams with direct reports
- Strong experience in Application design and system architecture
- Cloud-based development environments
- Service-oriented architectures and APIs
- Hands-on experience with .NET or Java (or both)
