Job Summary
Develop, test, and deliver high-quality code in Scala/Spark for transaction monitoring, customer activity review, and scenario optimization on a Big Data platform. Implement tactical and strategic solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and create technical design documents per Agile (SCRUM) standards. Perform data analysis for development and business needs, execute unit testing using automated BDD frameworks, and support UAT and automated regression testing. Follow MS DevOps standards for automated release across environments while working closely with global teams on collaborative projects. Requires 8+ years Java Full Stack experience, 3+ years Scala/Spark, and knowledge of the Actimize ACTONE platform.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years Java Full Stack experience
- 3+ years hands-on Scala/Spark development
- Strong SQL (RDBMS/DB2)
- Experience in HDFS platform development (2+ years)
- Skilled in code optimization (performance, scalability, configurability)
- Proficiency in data analysis, profiling, and lineage
- Experience in Agile (SCRUM) projects
- Knowledge of Actimize ACTONE platform
- Experience with Azure Cloud implementations
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
Desired Qualifications
- Big Data certification preferred
- Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics exposure
