Job Summary
Lead Graphic Designer for Nike Training Speed & Inline Apparel, responsible for conceptualizing narratives across multiple collections and aligning with product and design partners to develop apparel graphics and branding. Role requires factory travel four times a year and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver narrative-driven graphic design across Nike Training. Key skills include storytelling through graphic design, brand identity, and product storytelling; must have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design (or related field) and a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with strong typography and color theory foundations. Able to translate insights into clear product narratives, present concepts to stakeholders, and manage multiple projects in ambiguity. The team emphasizes world-building and narrative storytelling across Nike Training apparel, with opportunities to work closely with design leadership and product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating research-driven design, concept development, problem-solving, and polished execution (link or PDF required)
- Strong foundation in typography, color theory, brand identity, and core design principles, with growing expertise in product design from ideation through final execution
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with solid skills in Photoshop and InDesign
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and translate insights into clear product narratives and compelling visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven success collaborating across cross-functional teams and presenting concepts to stakeholders
- Demonstrated creative agility, positive attitude, self-awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity through ambiguity to completion
