Job Summary
Define and evolve the Design System strategy aligned with product and design vision while managing the Design System Managers team. Pilot the Design System roadmap, arbitrating priorities based on business, product, and technical constraints to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the full lifecycle. Guarantee alignment between the Design System, product visions, and delivery cycles, then drive implementation and adoption across design and tech teams. Mentor the Design System Managers, share best practices, and embody the Design System culture organization-wide. This role supports Accor Tech & Digital's mission to reinvent travel experiences across 5,500 hotels and 110 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Lead Design System experience
- +15 years of experience
- Knowledge of HTML standards
- Knowledge of CSS (SCSS/LESS)
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of responsive design
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, ...)
- Solid knowledge of Design Systems techniques (components, tokens, documentation, versioning)
- Strong collaboration skills between design and tech / architecture
- Proficiency in design tools & handoff (Figma)
- Knowledge of industrialization challenges & AI
