Lead Design Engineer, Crop Care Planters

Lead Design Engineer to spearhead the design and development of complex engineering projects for crop care planters, directing cross-functional teams across global locations. Responsibilities include conceiving practical product design applications, leading concept and feasibility studies, coordinating design, analysis, and computer simulation efforts, developing plans to meet schedules, interfacing with plant locations and office departments, evaluating major systems on competitive products, coordinating product tests, guiding other engineers to meet development timelines, resolving design and manufacturing problems, and traveling to foreign and domestic plants, dealerships, customer job sites, and field-test locations to support product improvements. Requires mechanical or mechatronics or electrical/electronic engineering degree, 5+ years in product development, proficiency in GD&T; DFMEA 4th; DVP&R; CAD (Pro/Engineer desirable); knowledge in FEA; PMP & DFMA desirable; fluency in English; and willingness to travel.
