Job Summary
Lead and support the dental assisting team by mentoring new and existing members, driving team excellence through dynamic meetings and impactful training, and pioneering innovative problem-solving strategies. Collaborate with the doctor to resolve operational conflicts, uphold clinical protocols, and ensure treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment remain organized. Supervise lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology, while engaging patients through positive interactions and efficient discussions. Monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.) to maintain clinical standards. Engage in the Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, My Day, and Weekly/Monthly Reports to be accountable for the systems involved in the back-office experience. Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines and support the doctor in delivering high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a patient-first approach
- Ability to mentor and support team members
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
Desired Qualifications
- Lead Dental Assistant experience preferred
- Experience with digital dentistry and modern dental technology is a plus
