Job Summary
Assist dentists during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, and take radiographs. Provide patients with oral care instructions post-treatment, record medical histories, and maintain accurate patient records. Ensure a clean and organized work environment while setting up and breaking down operatories. Requires valid x-ray certification, CPR certification, and at least three years of experience assisting with fillings, crown/bridge prep, and impressions. Required Qualifications
- Valid x-ray certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Experience taking impressions and pouring models
- Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep
- Ability to set up and break down operatories
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred
