Job Summary
Conduct weekend delivery operations on Saturdays and Sundays, performing early-morning warehouse activities like sorting, verifying, and loading pallets into vehicles. Serve as Key Holder and Leader on Duty during management absence, managing facility security by opening/closing the building, activating/deactivating alarm systems, and leading daily team start-up meetings. Safely operate fleet vehicles in accordance with DOT rules while providing backup coverage for vacant routes and assisting with dispatch and resource allocation. Train new and existing staff on delivery procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations, and proactively monitor activities to identify and escalate operational issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver's license
- Class B CDL
- Must meet all applicable DOT qualification requirements
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to safely lift and handle products weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and other physical activities required for delivery operations
- Ability to work safely in varied weather conditions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to provide direction and make sound decisions in the absence of management
- Strong customer service skills and professional representation of the company
- Ability to prioritize multiple operational needs in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and map-reading skills
- Familiarity with the local delivery service area
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of delivery experience
- Previous leadership, lead, supervisory, or team-lead experience
- Experience working in a delivery, transportation, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Familiarity with transportation systems, delivery processes, and operational procedures
- Experience using manual pallet jacks
- Experience with transportation, routing, GIS, or delivery management systems
