Lead Delivery Driver

Job Summary
Lead pre-shift meetings, manage load-out operations, and onboard new drivers to ensure safe and efficient team performance. Conduct quarterly driver observations to verify compliance with DOT and company standards while supporting overall delivery volume through route assistance or overtime as needed. Deliver customer orders directly to doorsteps, verifying deliveries in the routing app while safely navigating weather conditions and hazards. Load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift using proper lifting form, and support the Packaging Return Program by documenting customer recycling. Maintain a safety-first mindset and positive attitude throughout all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 2 years
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
- 2 years of previous Delivery driving experience
- Comfortable operating a delivery van in all types of weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Experience working in a food based environment
