Job Summary
Lead Delivery Driver at CVS Health responsible for the quality and efficiency of delivery drivers and operations; acts as liaison between long term care facilities and delivery staff; trains transport personnel; coordinates work schedules and routes; monitors workflows, analyzes patterns, conducts staff meetings, ensures regulatory compliance (HIPAA, DOT, OSHA), maintains vehicles, and performs medication deliveries to facilities or patients’ homes; prepares manifests and paperwork, scans medications, and supports pharmacy operations while upholding safety and confidentiality; typical full-time hours with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
- Driver’s license in good standing and a clean driving record
- Ability to use routing software (if applicable)
- Ability to drive a standard transmission IF necessary
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods
- Math aptitude for problem solving
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
