Lead the deli department in a SpartanNash/C&S Wholesale Grocers store in Fenton, MI. Responsibilities include ordering and maintaining department inventory, validating received orders for amount/quality/count, supervising a team to complete stocking and production tasks, ensuring product freshness and proper storage, staying aware of ad items and promotions, communicating and executing the weekly Flight Plan, assisting with scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll expenses, implementing the company’s winning recipe and core values, supporting staffing, training, performance management, and career development, and ensuring adherence to food safety and safety guidelines, as well as participating in daily huddles and meetings. Plus, perform other duties as needed and maintain a clean, well-stocked department while prioritizing guest experience and compliance with company policies.
