Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store, ensuring associates are trained, the department is fully staffed, and goals/KPIs are met. Manage inventory ordering and control to maintain product freshness and quality; review and validate received orders; supervise stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure accuracy, rotation, and proper handling of damaged goods. Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and store features; communicate and execute Flight Plans and schedules; assist in labor control, overtime, and payroll expenses; implement Our Winning Recipe and core values; support career development and goal monitoring for department staff; participate in daily huddles and meetings; uphold food safety and general safety guidelines; perform additional assigned tasks and ensure a clean, well-stocked department while accommodating variations in store operations.
