Job Summary
Lead Debt Recovery Performance Analyst responsible for driving continuous improvement in debt recovery strategies. Role encompasses strategy & innovation to optimise liquidation and collections, stakeholder engagement with clients and internal partners, portfolio oversight across arrears and insolvencies, process optimisation through rigorous testing, and development of Management Information (MI) that informs decision-making. Requires delivering high-quality analytical outputs, supporting forecasting and identifying revenue opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to relationship and operations teams. Advanced skills in data manipulation (SQL), potential Python usage, and a numerate academic background (BA/BSc in Mathematics or Statistics) are preferred. Experience in a high-performing Collections or Recoveries environment and the ability to influence stakeholders at senior levels are essential. The position is based in Nottingham, UK, and is full-time.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BSc in Mathematics or Statistics (2:1 or higher) or equivalent numerically-focused degree
- Strong analytical skills with experience translating business objectives into analytical work plan
- Proven experience in Collections or Recoveries environments
- Advanced SQL experience
- Desirable Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence capabilities
- Experience delivering analytical outputs under tight deadlines
