Job Summary
Lead Databricks Architect responsible for designing and implementing a scalable Databricks Lakehouse, leading end-to-end data pipelines (ELT/ETL) with Spark and cloud-native services, partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver real-time insights, advanced analytics, and AI/ML use cases. Establish data governance, quality, and MDM frameworks; actively contribute to architecture, code, and implementation; build and mentor a high-performing data engineering/analytics team. Location is Flexible/Remote with travel as needed; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Level: Director (Hands-On Architect).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Lead Architect capacity
- Deep expertise in Databricks including Delta Lake, Spark, and Lakehouse architecture
- Experience integrating data across ERP and SaaS platforms
- Strong background in data modeling, pipeline design, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Track record of delivering business-impacting data & AI solutions in complex environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and translate data into business value
