Job Summary
Lead client engagements by interpreting strategic plans that improve data integration, quality, and delivery while articulating architectural trade-offs across solution options. Collaborate with stakeholders to turn vague concepts into actionable insights, advocating for data management technologies that eliminate gaps between current and future states. Motivate and develop team members through coaching and mentorship, partnering with portfolio teams to estimate work plans and recommend talent composition. Simultaneously support internal initiatives and client delivery in a fast-paced environment, ensuring technical requirements are met while driving thought leadership and business development.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of leading large technical teams and projects
- 10+ years of experience implementing a wide variety of on-premises and cloud data management platforms and technologies
- Proven track record of assessing traditional and modern data architectures based on business needs in a consultative approach
- Experience with the modern data stack/platform technologies, products, and approaches
- Delivery experience on multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep background with integrations and transformations of numerous types of data sources, and the solution delivery of real-time data distribution (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase), and warehousing platforms
- History of conducting/implementing strategic data assessments, data governance frameworks, and data quality measurements
- 5+ years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services
- Employees must be available to work onsite in a client location or a CapTech office as requested
- Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
