Job Summary
Lead analytical initiatives to shape product pricing, cataloging, and listing workflows by delivering deep insights and creating proof-of-concept models for AI-based price guidance and image-to-text tools. Design robust benchmarking frameworks to evaluate Large Language Models and optimize Vision-Language Model workflows that extract structured catalog attributes from seller images. Conduct data dives using SQL and Python to refine search algorithms, catalog infrastructure, and global ontologies. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Applied ML teams to translate prototype insights into scalable, production-grade features. Establish validation metrics to verify model safety and performance before marketplace deployment. Based in Bengaluru, India, this role requires 9+ years of experience in analytics or machine learning with expertise in SQL, Python, and generative AI workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or machine learning roles
- Advanced expertise in SQL
- Advanced expertise in Python
- Hands-on exposure to or conceptual understanding of evaluating generative AI workflows
- Experience or interest in digital marketplace mechanics
- Strong capability in designing custom benchmarking methodologies and evaluation metrics
- Excellent communication skills
