Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary
Develop and deploy machine learning models to tackle complex business problems, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and evaluation using regression, classification, and deep learning. Design and implement data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading using Python, Snowflake, and Oracle. Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI, optimize Power Apps solutions, and develop workflows with Power Automate to automate business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics for decision-making and provide technical leadership through mentorship. This role requires 7+ years of experience and a degree in a quantitative field, with a flexible/hybrid schedule of three days onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles, with a focus on machine learning and data-driven decision-making
- Proven experience in Python programming and machine learning techniques, with a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Strong understanding of different machine learning algorithms and their applications, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning
- Expertise in data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI
- Strong proficiency in Power Apps development, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and custom connectors
- Experience in building and deploying workflows and automations using Power Automate
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Oracle database technologies
- Advanced skills in SQL programming, with experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a passion for data-driven decision-making
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts into business insights and recommendations
Desired Qualifications

- Experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is highly preferred
- Experience with other visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik is a plus
- SharePoint knowledge is a plus
