Job Summary
As a Lead Data Science Researcher at NiCE, you will lead high-impact research initiatives across NLP, Vision, and multimodal domains with a strong emphasis on large language models and agentic-AI systems. This role combines deep hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, mentoring peers, and translating innovative ideas into reliable capabilities for contact center solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate research hypotheses and guide the transition from experimental systems to real-world deployments. Essential qualifications include experience in applied AI, building production-grade AI agents, agent frameworks, and expertise in LLMs, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven, hands‐on impact in applied AI.
- Experience with agent frameworks/orchestration layers or custom agent runtimes (e.g., LangGraph/LangChain).
- Strong practical expertise with LLMs (AWS Bedrock or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML/DL libraries.
- Strong AI engineering skills (clean architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability).
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills; fluency in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multi‐agent systems, reinforcement learning, or policy optimization for agent control.
- Expertise in multimodal or vision‐based deep learning.
- Operating experience with cloud ML at scale (AWS or equivalent).
- Leading/mentoring globally distributed teams.
