Job Summary
Lead the Data Integration team to design, build, and maintain ML-powered data integration solutions and API pipelines. Responsibilities include leading ML model pipeline initiatives from concept to production, defining scalable and secure architecture, ensuring production readiness with ML Ops practices, collaborating with BI Architects on complex data projects, and coaching junior team members. Requires extensive hands-on experience with REST APIs, data engineering, and analytics in an insurance data context, plus strong communication to convey technical value to business stakeholders. Proficiency in R, SQL, Python, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory is required; role involves hybrid work with in-office days. Salary in the posted range and a comprehensive total rewards package are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10 years of experience in ML Engineering, Data engineering/Integration or related field
- Strong focus on model serving using REST APIs and continuous monitoring
- Experience leading others to solve complex problems
- Strong understanding of data analysis, programming, modeling techniques, data warehouse and data management
- Experience with R, SQL, Python, Synapse, Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Proficiency in English; non-francophone groups and teams outside Québec
