Job Summary
Lead data engineering execution in support of complex application development initiatives, ensuring data integrations, pipelines, and models align with established architectural standards. Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and execute data migrations between systems, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness across environments. Utilize software development skills in an agile environment to develop new data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools and contribute to end-to-end lifecycle activities including design, deployment, testing, operations, monitoring and support. Demonstrate proficiency in Python for production pipelines, experience with data movement and validation, and familiarity with Azure data tools (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Tabular Model / DAX, Microsoft Fabric) or comparable technologies. Strong SQL and NoSQL experience (SQL Server, MongoDB) and ability to model data, analyze schemas, write complex queries, and resolve data quality issues during migration. Exposure to Git/GitHub, automated pipeline deployment, schemas in production, agile methods and CI/CD, and a focus on security, testing, performance, JSON, and REST. Passion for shipping and maintaining production software and data migrations with attention to detail, problem-solving, simplicity, quality, and speed.
