Job Summary
Hands-on Lead Data Engineer role focused on building the group’s data backbone: defining and maintaining the data architecture (raw, bronze, silver, gold), governing data quality and privacy (RGPD), delivering end-to-end data pipelines, and aligning with BU leaders. You will architect and operate data pipelines, set common standards, and drive initial data use cases in autonomy or in partnership with business units. You will coordinate with CPTO/COO and BU leaders to shape the data strategy, recruit and lead a data team, and ensure alignment across cloud environments (Azure, GCP) and major stacks (Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery, Snowflake). The role emphasizes hands-on implementation of data foundation, data lake/warehouse architecture, data lineage, contracts of interfaces, and governance across a multi-BU group; the company is located in Paris with open Casablanca offices and offers telework capability.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years d'expérience en data engineering ou lead data engineer
- expérience hands-on sur architecture data lake/data warehouse
- conception et déploiement de pipelines ETL
- gestion de RGPD et sécurité des données
- capacité à conduire une fonction centrale data et à rayonner vers les BU
- maîtrise d'au moins une stack majeure (Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- expérience avec Azure et/ou GCP
- anglais professionnel souhaité; français courant indispensable
