Job Summary
Architect and develop robust, scalable real-time data systems using Python, Kafka, and Spark to process high-throughput feeds. Lead the development of innovative platforms for real-time tracking, optimization, and large-scale operational management while evolving backend architecture. Mentor engineers and set technical direction for the data engineering team. Collaborate with cross-functional product, engineering, and operations teams across multiple countries to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Kafka and real-time/streaming data architectures
- Proficiency in Python
- Proven track record designing and scaling distributed, high-throughput backend systems
- Hands-on experience with big data and stream-processing frameworks (Spark, or similar)
- Comfortable leading projects end-to-end and working with cross-border, cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures
