Job Summary
Lead Data Engineer at Capital One responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting data solutions across Agile teams. Collaborate with developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems to deliver cloud-based data capabilities. Utilize Java, Scala, Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases; work with Redshift and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing; mentor engineering peers; perform unit tests and code reviews to ensure high-performance, well-tuned code. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in application development
- At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
