Job Summary
Lead Data Analyst responsible for shaping analytics strategy and delivering measurable business impact at Good Energy. You will direct a small analytics team (two BI Analysts) while coaching a wider group of analysts, partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical approaches, and own the analytics roadmap. The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership, focusing on data storytelling, dashboard development, KPI governance, and the adoption of AI-enabled tools. You’ll work in a hybrid setup at the Chippenham office (weekly in-office presence) with responsibilities spanning analytics strategy, governance, stakeholder partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration across data engineering, data science, and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading analytics teams
- Strong SQL and data fluency
- Experience with modern BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Lightdash, Metabase or similar)
- Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to define analytics strategy and roadmaps
- Experience with data storytelling and presenting insights to senior leadership
- Experience in governance and KPI development
