LEAD DATA ANALYST (F/M/D)

Job Summary
Lead the backlog of a data analytics team by setting priorities, planning delivery, and managing scope, dependencies, and risks. Guide the team through complex technical and analytical challenges while establishing standards for data modeling, QA processes, and best practices. Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into impactful solutions and collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to manage cross-functional initiatives. Drive the quality of analytical solutions through reviews, data quality standards, and KPI logic consistency. This role sits within the Data Governance Unit of the Digital Solutions and Data Management Department at Elektros Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO), a major part of the Ignitis Group. You will help build a greener, smarter, and more secure energy ecosystem by transforming data into better decisions across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence
- At least 2 years of experience leading the technical direction of an analytics team, managing a backlog, and prioritizing work
- Ability to lead a team and independently solve highly complex analytical challenges
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI (DAX), and Python
- Deep understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and analytical solution design
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH), data pipelines, semantic modeling, and cloud principles
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to plan work, estimate scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience ensuring analytical solution quality through reviews, QA practices, data quality standards, and KPI logic consistency
