Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of 1st and 3rd shift custodians in academic buildings and dorms, including assigning relief staff for absences and approving attendance. Conduct daily check-ins with the manager to review progress, address challenges, and confirm next steps. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to employees while inspecting work, evaluating performance, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and policies. Participate in leadership meetings to communicate objectives and share updates.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years in the custodial field
- Intermediate knowledge of cleaning terms
- Intermediate knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals
- High School Diploma/GED
