Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Oversee and perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Maintain supply closets, inventory cleaning materials, and request reorders as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct regular inspections to meet cleaning standards, and report hazards promptly. Assist with shift assignments, task distribution, and data entry within client work management systems. Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, sanitize surfaces, clean windows and glass, empty waste bins, and perform heavy cleaning duties such as shampooing rugs and washing walls. Identify and escalate custodial issues to management. Maintain open communication with the team, facility management, and relevant departments. Available to work in other areas after primary duties. Full-time role with various shifts, overtime eligibility, and Teamsters Union representation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
- US Citizenship
- Ability to pass a government clearance
- Valid state driver's license with no major infractions
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Knowledge of acceptable maintenance procedures
- Understanding of occupational safety and health regulations
- Ability to work on site during normal working hours
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
