Lead Custodian (Day Shift Refresh)

Job Summary
Conduct daily refresh and detail cleaning of restrooms, common areas, conference rooms, hallways, and offices across residence halls, athletic areas, and academic buildings. Lead, train, and provide daily direction to assigned staff by assigning, monitoring, and assisting with cleaning duties. Operate light floor machines and attachments, perform general maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and plunging toilets, and assist with event setups, seasonal grounds maintenance, and garbage removal. Maintain proficiency in PC skills and safety regulations while working independently Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Good PC skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid PA driver's license
- Proficient technical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to read and comprehend safety regulations and other documentation pertinent to the position
