Lead Custodian - Cleveland Temple

Job Summary
Schedule preventative maintenance and inspections for the Cleveland Temple building and assigned vehicles. Perform all janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waxing floors, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms and chapels. Manage minor equipment repairs, coordinate volunteer projects, and monitor contracted services for trash and snow removal. Assist Corps Officers with property upkeep, replace light bulbs, remove graffiti, and provide ground maintenance. Support seasonal ministry efforts such as Angel Tree distribution, drive Salvation Army vehicles for supplies, and help with community outreach events and special assignments. Maintain documentation of maintenance records and vehicle logs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- 2 years of experience in the field of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must maintain a valid Ohio Drivers License
- Must be able to drive for The Salvation Army
