Lead CT Technologist

Job Summary
Lead CT Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of CT procedures and advanced protocols (TAVR, Cardiac CTA, gated chest, runoffs, lung and heart screenings) with the ability to independently perform job functions, set up imaging equipment, and position patients. Provides leadership in the absence of the chief technologist, mentors staff, supports hiring and competency validation, and ensures patient safety, image quality, and regulatory compliance. Maintains workflow to optimize throughput, communicates performance concerns to leadership, and participates in department meetings and process improvements. Requires ARRT radiography and CT certification, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience with CT experience. Must be able to teach and mentor CT technologists and demonstrate competency across all CT protocols. Shift details include Day shift with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hours, plus a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in patient care
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to teach and mentor CT technologists
- Ability to perform and post-process advanced CT protocols (TAVR, Cardiac CTA, gated chest, runoffs, lung and heart screenings)
