Job Summary
Lead CT Technologist role providing advanced CT imaging across protocols (TAVR, Cardiac CTA, gated chest, runoffs, lung/heart screenings) with patient care leadership, staff mentoring, and department oversight. Responsibilities include exam setup, patient positioning, contrast administration, image review, radiation safety, QA/QC, PACS/RIS workflow, training new staff, and collaboration with leadership to implement new protocols. Must possess ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, BLS, and 2+ years clinical radiology experience (1 year CT). Able to teach, mentor, and lead departmental activities, ensuring efficient patient throughput and compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient-care experience
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to teach and mentor CT technologists
- Ability to perform and post-process advanced CT protocols (TAVR, Cardiac CTA, gated chest, runoffs, lung and heart screenings)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and regulatory standards
- Capability to manage throughput and equipment utilization
- Competency in all aspects of CT and QC tests
