Job Summary
Lead CT Technologist position providing leadership in a Level I trauma and cardiac/stroke imaging environment. Responsibilities include coordinating daily department workflow, leading orientation and training for new hires and students, providing remediation as needed, participating in talent acquisition interviews, and stepping in as acting supervisor in their absence. Requires ARRT CT Technologist certification, CPR/BLS, ARRT Certificate OR NMTC, and a minimum of 3 years CT experience. Will float between UPMC Presbyterian, Montefiore, and Kamin Tower to broaden clinical exposure across multiple sites; daytime schedule with two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends/holidays, and no on-call. Strong emphasis on quality assurance, exam protocol development, and leadership in a fast-paced imaging department.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified CT Technologist
- CPR or BLS Required
- CPR based on AHA standards includes didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire
- ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Act 34
