Job Summary
Sort, count, and record contents of table game drop boxes, bill changers, and currency drop boxes according to set procedures. Compare drop box data to computer terminals, verify totals, and transfer funds to the cashier department. Perform currency drops, count slot operations blind drops, and execute emergency drops of bill validators. Maintain count room equipment through minor repairs, keep the space clean and orderly, and notify supervisors of malfunctions. Act as a dynamic leader, fostering teamwork and morale while coaching team members and ensuring accountability. Partner with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and implement process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 6 months previous money handling experience
- Literate and fluent in basic English
- Excellent Math Skills
- General business and accounting knowledge
- Strong numeric aptitude
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours)
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts
- Ability to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel
- Ability to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights
- Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a ten-key adding machine
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
